Love is a Revolution
Love is a Revolution
Your gaze is a blow in my eyes
Your sweet tongue is a revolution in my heart
My thoughts are handcuffed
My emotions are at curfew
Your poison is pacing in my veins
My heart has adapted its rhythm to you
My cells have formed an organisation for you
Secluded mind, idea
The streets of my brain are dark
The light is on only when you come
What is hunger, what is satiety
My secrets voluntarily give me away
My soul has raised its hands, surrendered
Your voice is ringing on the radio;
‘This self devoid of love
We confiscated it in the middle of the night’
The body is curled up in a bunk
Writhing behind bars
A confusion, a panic, a rush
The sound of boots echoes on the walls
You are struggling, flapping, staggering
You are helpless, you know there is no salvation
The guard opens the small window in your cell
Slowly approaching footsteps
And the commander of the revolution appears in your eyes
