First you were blurry,

You came closer and closer

You became clearer as you got closer

You reached out your hand and said ‘Hello’

And you said ‘Welcome’ to my heart

You were talking about something

It was as if you were asking for a place

You were telling me with your hand

You fell into my heart like lightning

I fell in love with your eyes at first sight

My tongue was dumb, I just stood there

My ears didn't hear anything,

I was watching you alone

Then days followed days

Months followed months

My bread, my water

You became my day and night

We held the stars in the sky

We had happy dreams

The winds of poplar in our heads,

The tiny hands of love in our hearts...

Then the film seemed to rewind

Our hands stopped holding,

Our eyes stopped meeting

The stars we held slipped one by one

Neither you could understand what was happening

Neither could I...

And one day you stretched out your hand and said ‘Goodbye’

You were close and clear

Then you slowly moved away
